When gardenia meets white tea, something gentle happens. The soft floral notes dance with the delicate sweetness of White Peony, creating a tea that feels like a quiet moment in a blooming garden.
We've paired White Peony (Bai Mudan) from Fujian with whole dried gardenia flowers. Each piece comes individually wrapped - about 5g of tea and flower combined, making it convenient for brewing and keeping everything fresh.
The gardenia adds a subtle floral dimension to the already smooth white tea base. It's not perfumy or overwhelming - just a gentle enhancement that makes each cup feel a bit special.
How does this Gardenia White Tea taste?
The first thing you'll notice is that soft gardenia scent when you open the tea can. Once brewed, the white tea base gives you that familiar mild, slightly sweet taste, while the gardenia adds a subtle floral note that sits in the background. It's refreshing without being too light - you still get substance from the white tea.
Who might enjoy this
If you love the scent of gardenia flowers, this tea lets you enjoy that fragrance in a drinkable form. The white tea base makes it smooth and easy to drink, so you get the floral experience without it being overwhelming.
It's also worth trying if you already like white tea but want something different, or if you find some floral teas too strong - the gardenia here is quite gentle. Several customers who usually drink green tea have told us they enjoy this as an afternoon alternative.
A note from Joanne: "This has become one of those teas I reach for when I want something soothing but not too subtle. The gardenia adds just enough character without overwhelming the gentle nature of white tea."

I absolutely the Jasmine Dragon Pearls/ Buddhas Tears. I have a very sensitive tummy and often struggle to unwind after a long workday. With this amazing tea , it’s such so tasteful and light and ooh so refreshing and relaxing. I’ve tried so many different teas but this is my all time favourite.
This is probably one of my favourite teas, so delicious!
Good quality product but the container cover needs improvement., easily loose and not air tight .
I'd never thought to combine Puerh with lavender, but this makes for a very soothing flavour combination. The calming lavender and earthy puerh feels very 'Tasmanian'. I'm looking forward to trying more teas here.
Such a lovely, sweet, smooth tea.

Dong Ding Oolong is one of my go-to teas when working long hours in the clinic. It gives me a lovely little lift and brightens my mind so I can be a better practitioner. It has beautiful floral aromatic tones and such a clean finish. I love to drink this tea in my Gaiwan tea pots! Moment of Tea are the best!
I tried this tea at the Salamanca Market's earlier this year and absolutely fell in love, slowly worked my way through the tin I bought over the past few months and have finally ordered a replacement. Absolutely going to keep coming back as I drink this at least a few times every week!
